Upon arriving on Whidbey Island in the fall of 1997 Joe knew he and his family would be staying a long time…there was so much to see and do that a couple of years would not be enough! The Mosolinos bought their home through the Oak Harbor Windermere Real Estate office and that experience was so warm and wonderful that Joe knew his entry into real estate would only be with Windermere. Joe joined Windermere Real Estate in Oak Harbor, WA in June of 1998. He came with a BA degree in Communications/Public Relations from the University of Rhode Island in 1994 and a MA degree in Public Administration from the University of Maryland Systems/Bowie State in 1997. He has been very active with the state and local Realtor® associations and was Realtor of the Year for NPSAR2003 and NPSAR Presidents Award 2004. Whidbey Island has a very vibrant and active community and Joe has joined the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Island County and the Boys & Girls Club of Island County and is past president of the Oak Harbor Chapter of the Navy League.
Nine years ago; my family and I decided to make the Pacific Northwest our new forever home. We upped our roots from the Southern California region where I was born and raised and headed to this wonderful region. Facing the vast difference of pace was a big change for us all, but it has been a true blessing. I’ve been in real estate for the past fifteen years, and it is a career that has led me to feel as if I have a purpose. I started as a Broker’s Assistant, followed with a Relocation Specialist, and finally into Property Management. Property Management is where my passion lies. It allows me to assist owners find quality long term tenants and tenants find quality homes. It is truly a satisfying feeling knowing both owner and tenant are happy! I’m always happy to help with owner or tenant questions and sometimes to just lend a helping hand when needed. I have been lucky to be surrounded and guided by the top professionals in real estate and property management which has allowed me to become the professional that I am today. My mantra is; never stop learning, never stop listening and always keep a positive outlook.
My children and I moved from Southern California to Whidbey in 2004. It took a while to adjust to the slower pace but now I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I started in property management by working in Navy Housing. Then moved to conventional property management in 2017. Here at Windermere I have learned so much and have wonderful coworkers. I love what I do and enjoy helping people find the perfect home that fits their lifestyle and family.
Michelle and her family relocated to Whidbey Island in 2009 and she immediately fell in love with the community feeling and rich diversity of arts, festivals, locally produced goods and beautiful surroundings. She spent 7 years in creative production at the Whidbey Newspaper Group working on everything from special publications like “Islander” to the weekly papers, and enjoyed how it connected her to the local businesses and island news. Michelle went to work for the Langley Chamber of commerce in 2017, using her knowledge helping visitors find out about all the island has to offer, as well as applying her creative background to chamber projects like Mystery Weekend and tourism magazines. In April of 2018, she became a secretary/receptionist for Windermere Real Estate/South Whidbey and has learned much about the industry working with the brokers and support staff. Michelle brings her organizational skills and customer service passion to her position as Administrative Assistant in our Property Management office.
